I love this couple too!
Blah Blah Blah About Love. LOL, Read Page 167 in Bluestar's Prophecy
"Congratulations again, Raggedpelt," I said softly as we made our way home from the chilly Gathering. He glanced at me, his eyes soft.
"Thank you, Yellowfang."
"You will be a wonderful deputy, but make sure you don't get in my way when you're all high and mighty." I warned him playfully. Foxheart padded over to us.
"And if you get in my way, I'll shred you," she mewed teasingly. I laughed. Raggedpelt brushed against me, his tail gliding over my shoulders. I leaned in, enjoying the warmth of his fur, the firmness of his frame. I wish I could have stayed there forever, just me and him.
He leaned away.
"You need to tone down the snappiness, Yellowfang," he laughed. I stiffened. Tone down my what? Is that what it will take to be his mate? Stupid tom.
"I'll do it when I'm ready," I hissed, and padded away.

I held my head up so the others would know who I was. As the leaders congratulated me, I glanced at Raggedpelt, who's angry eyes narrowed at me. How dare he! This is the path I wish to go on! Arrogant furball thinks I'll give up my dreams for him? I glared at him, and almost tackled a blue-gray she-cat who twitched her ears at me. As we left the Gathering after Heatherstar and Hailstar's reports, he came to my side.
"Tag behind!" he hissed furiously. I bared my teeth at him, but agreed. When we were out of earshot of the patrol, ha growled.
"Why are you doing this to me, Yellowfang?!" he yowled. I growled angrily.
"Because it is what I want to do! I want to be a medicine cat!"
"You want to hurt me?" His eyes were full of hurt.
"I want to do what I WANT! Now get over it!" I yowled. I leaped at him pinning him. "Don't you dare tell me what to do."
His eyes glazed with pain.
"We can't be mates now, Yellowfang." I stepped back.
"Is that what you wanted?" I hissed. He nodded.
"More than anything in the world," he whispered. My heart leaped. I stared at him for a long moment.
"I can do both," I decided, "Meet me here every other moonrise at moonhigh. We will make this work."
